The pre-school classes are Oak and Beech. Focus is still on play, but over their final year of nursery, there is more structure built into the day.
Exploration and Discovery: The preschool classrooms are filled with opportunities for children to explore and discover new experiences and expand upon their knowledge and understanding. From sensory activities to interactive learning, children are encouraged to engage with their environment and learn through hands-on experiences.
Social Interaction: Preschool is often a child’s first experience in a structured social setting outside from their home environment. They learn the importance of social skills, such as; sharing, turn-taking, and cooperating with others through play and group activities.
Growth and Development: Thisl is a critical stage in a child’s growth and development. Our experienced Early Years staff provide activities and experiences that support cognitive, physical, and emotional development, helping children build essential skills that will prepare them for future learning and their next adventure into Reception class.
Creativity and Imagination: Our pre-school classrooms are vibrant spaces where creativity and imagination are nurtured through our continuous provisions in both indoor and outdoor environments. Children engage in art projects, story telling and dramatic play, allowing them to express themselves and develop their creativity.
Routine and Structure: While Preschool classrooms are filled with fun and excitement, they also provide a structured environment that helps children to feel secure and develop a sense of routine in order to prepare them for Reception onwards. Daily scehdules, consistent rules, and clear expectations create a sense of stability and predictability for young children.
