We are very happy you are thinking about Cricklade Manor Nursery for your child. Where space allows, your child can join our Nursery Class when they reach their 2nd birthday, or our Pre-Reception class from the September after their 3rd birthday. We have made the joining process as straightforward and simple as possible.
1. Contact us
You can get in touch using the online enquiry form, or by telephone or email. Penny Kelly, who runs admissions, will be able to answer any initial questions you have, including information about wrap-around care and funding.
2. Come for a visit
We invite the whole family in for a tour of our lovely Nursery. Lorna Bishop, our very friendly Nursery Manager, will be there to greet you and show you the bright classrooms and extensive outdoor space. You’ll have the opportunity to see all the fun and learning going on in the Nursery. Before your visit, it’s a good idea to have a think about the things that you are looking for in a nursery. Lorna will be able to answer any questions you have.
3. Stay & Play
Next we will invite you along to a fun Stay & Play session with your child. We will give you the All About Me booklet to complete ahead of your visit, so we can understand more about your child’s likes, dislikes, habits and abilities – plus anything else you would like us to know. While you little one has fun, you will have plenty of time to talk to the Nursery Class or Pre-School Class teacher. Whenever you feel comfortable, you will be able to leave your child for an hour or so, so they can spend time with the other children and become familiar with the friendly Nursery environment.

Once you are happy that Cricklade Manor Nursery is the right place for your child, and we are confident that we can give your child the provision and support they need, we will give you:
If your child is coming from another Nursery, we will also ask for a copy of his or her Nursery Progress Report
