Set in a magical walled garden, and with a team of enthusiastic and experienced Early Years staff, here children from 2 years old, get the best possible start. With our carefully developed curriculum, their days are spent developing curiosity, building confidence and discovering all the amazing things they are capable of. Offering year-round and wrap-around care for busy parents, Cricklade Manor Nursery is the perfect start to a lifetime of learning. Although we are set in the grounds of Cricklade Manor Prep, you don’t need to commit to joining the school at Reception. We welcome plenty of children into the Nursery who are planning to go onto school elsewhere.
Year Round and Wrap Around Care: We understand how busy life is for working parents, that’s why we offer year-round flexible and affordable wrap-around care from 7.30am-6pm.
Skilled and Caring Staff: Our dedicated and experienced Nursery team are passionate about early childhood development, and we provide a high teacher to child ratio. Preschool children also benefit from subject-specialist teaching from staff at the school. Weekly PE sessions are led by PE staff, and Forest School sessions are led by a qualified Forest School leader.
Open to everyone: Our Nursery sits in the grounds of Cricklade Manor Prep, and benefits from all the amazing school facilities. However, while lots of our Nursery children do continue into Reception, there’s no requirement to do so.
Enriching Environment: Set inside our picturesque walled garden, our Nursery provides a serene setting. With access to spacious outdoor play areas, a forest school, a sports hall and astroturf, your little one will have ample opportunities to explore, learn and grow. And our flock of chickens always provide lots of fun and entertainment!
Engaging Curriculum: Our innovative curriculum combines play-based learning with structured activities, fostering creativity, critical thinking and social skills. Your child will explore various subjects, from arts and crafts, to music and early literacy, preparing them for a bright academic future. They will be accompanied on their learning adventure by our Woodland Explorer characters. Friends like Curious Cat, Friendly Frog and Creative Caterpillar help our children make sense of all areas of the Early Years’ curriculum.
Delicious and nutritious food: Our freshly prepared lunches and snacks are always very popular with children and staff alike.
Convenient Location: Cricklade Manor Nursery is located in the heart of the pretty Saxon town of Cricklade, within easy reach of Swindon and Cirencester. Dedicated parking for Nursery parents makes pick-up and drop-off easy.
Strong Community: Our regular school events create a close-knit community for Cricklade Manor parents. We are a warm and welcoming bunch!
Affordable and Flexible: Our competitive fees and flexible booking options make Cricklade Manor Nursery a convenient and affordable option. We are registered with Wiltshire Council to apply the Early Years Free Entitlement funding to all 3 to 5-year-olds. The universal 15 hours funding per week is available, plus a further 15 hours if parents are eligible. More information on fees is available here.
